Since Roman times, the Bay of Naples, surrounded by the blue waters of the Mediterranean, has been famous for its abundant fish and seafood. The DiMeo family was always drawn to cooking with the fresh ingredients in their area.
These ingredients included herbs and vegetables grown in their mother’s garden. The homemade pastas and breads always rounded out the meals.
In 1978 the family left their home in Monte di Procida, Italy and arrived in New Jersey with the dream of opening their own restaurant.
The dream became a reality and Antonio’s Trattoria opened. Over the years, Antonio’s has maintained the family tradition of hard work, patience, and good cooking. In the tradition of the DiMeo family we continue to serve the freshest, most wholesome food in generous portions.
